Friends of Hope Cemetery & Woods
The Mission of Friends of Hope Cemetery & Woods is to protect, maintain, and promote Hope Woods; and to sustain the long-range financial stability of Hope Cemetery Corporation.
Hope Woods Conservation Initiative Success
Thanks to our many donors and the hard work of our Board Members, the Hope Woods Conservation Initiative was successfully completed in cooperation with Kennebunk Land Trust, reaching our goal of raising $1.4 Million. Hope Woods can now be preserved and enjoyed for years to come. We are looking forward to furthering our relationship with Kennebunk Land Trust and to planning activities and events that will allow enjoyment and appreciation of this local treasure.
Accessible Trail Project
In 2020, an Accessible Trail with ADA compliant parking was constructed to enhance outdoor recreational opportunities for all, regardless of age or ability. Download the Project Narrative:UAT Narrative
